Functional areas and Experience
1. Research and Development Support
PacRim has conducted and supported product development for internal development programs and for external customers applying engineering, scientific and analytical disciplines to conduct in-depth research; scientific studies and experimentation. These efforts were conducted in an effort to advance the understanding; concepts and the assessment of system and subsystem development, analysis and evaluation. The goals of these efforts were the development of new or improved functional capabilities of existing or new systems. This effort included the requirement of PacRim to staffing the operation, conducting the activities and upkeep of all test and development facilities.
2. Engineering, System Engineering and Process Engineering Support
PacRim has conducted and supported significant product alterations to complex existing systems, support integration and interface of existing equipment into modified applications and operations. PacRim has supported the evaluation of complex development and non-developmental subsystems, systems and equipment.
3. Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support
PacRim has conducted analysis and modeling to validate physical and mathematical representations of complex systems and subsystems. PacRim has also used models, prototypes and simulations to develop technical and business decisions regarding product deployment feasibility and system functionality analysis.
7. Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) Support
PacRim has conducted many Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability analysis for internal and external customer projects and programs using the application of engineering, scientific, and analytical analysis to ensure system requirements are met. These programs were implemented to assist in the detection and correction of design deficiencies, weak parts, and workmanship defects by early identified, maintenance and repair.
14. Interoperability, Test and Evaluation, Trials Support
PacRim and its’ associates have a varied history with respect to test development, functional testing and test analysis. PacRim and it’s associates have developed, directed and analyzed tests and test data. PacRim has also written test reports and presented test results to prime customer representatives. These test programs have been in support of aircraft and military hardware programs requiring high aptitude of engineering, scientific, and analytical disciplines.
17. Professional Development and Training Support
PacRim has developed and presented specialized training for aerospace engineering teams. This training program required the application of specialized engineering and analytical disciplines to ensure that the technical support representative is provided with adequate instruction including applied exercises to test understanding and knowledge retention.
